The B2B beverage division of Barry Callebaut – global manufacturer of chocolate products, Barry Callebaut Beverages UK, has used the expertise of leading flexible packaging group, UNI Packaging, to launch a range of cocoa and chocolate drink powders.
Hailed as one of the company’s “most exciting launches to date” following a reception at this year’s Caffè Culture show at London’s Olympia, the Barista single origin range from Bensdorp, a Barry Callebaut brand, consists of three variants of drink powders each packaged in a 750g vertical form filled seal, 3-ply laminated stand-up bag.
The bags were produced at UNI Packaging’s St. Helens site and printed via the group’s award winning digital print offering Digiflex®. Given the short run requirement and the ability to print various designs consecutively with no additional setup, digital print was the ideal solution for the launch of the range.
